Match rules
Player registration
U7 – U11
Players must be registered with the league as a playing member of the club. Players registered last year should be entered onto the new East Gwent league team sheet.
Players who have not be registered before need to use the Gwent FA Junior player registration form.
The club secretary must register players 72 hours before they are able to play.
U12 – U16
Players must be registered with the East Gwent League as a playing member of the club – Using the new FAW player registrattion form.
The club secretary must register players 72 hours before they are able to play.
RESPECT
Respect opponents, players, coaches and supporters. If there are any issues before, during or after a game DO NOT CONFRONT the opponents – Speak to our team manager, who will talk with the opponent’s team manager.
Mini Football Match Reports
Please note that match reports MUST NOT be published in the media or on the web. This is an FAW Rule. Scores, goal scorers etc must not be published.
Teams are provided with a match report book. The home team is responsible for ggetting in completed and posting it to the leaggue secreatry
Competitive Youth Match Reports (U12s and over)
Team match reports in the press and on the web MUST RESPECT opponents, players, coaches and officials.
The home team must phone or email your result after the match before 6pm to the league fixture secretary- 01291 627804
The match report must be completed by the home and away teams.
The home team send the report to the league Junior secretary. It should arrive by the Wednesday following the game.
Please abide by the rules to avoid disciplinary hearings and fines.
