Player Accident Insurance

Football is a contact sport and as such Garden City provides a level of personal accident insurance cover for registered and paid up player members age 5 years to 16 years old. This covers games and training sessions. Serious injuries are rare in children’s football but can occur. Parents may wish to arrange a higher level of personal accident insurance cover for their children.

Playing kit and training equipment

The club provides a football kit for those engaged in regular matches. We look to business sponsors to help fund the cost of this kit.

The club standardise on the Prostar football kit – Emerald green and black striped jerseys, black shorts and emerald green/black/white 3 stripe socks. Team Managers must ensure no other style or colour of kits are ordered. Kits can only be ordered after approval by the committee.  The local supplier of ProStar Kit is “On Six” on Chepstow High Street.

The football kit is loaned out to the player for him/her to look after during their membership of the club. They must wear this kit at organised games. All kit MUST be returned by the player if he/she leaves the club.

Each team is provided with training equipment, such as balls, bibs and cones and has. They have  access to goals, slalom poles or agility ladders etc.
